About RoamRates

RoamRates is an independent travel eSIM price comparison. We help travellers find the cheapest data eSIM for their destination by comparing price-per-GB across the major providers, instead of trusting a single brand's marketing.

What we do

For 38+ countries plus regional and global plans, we collect the published package prices of Airalo, Nomad, Saily, Holafly, aloSIM and rank them by price-per-GB (plan price ÷ GB) — the only fair way to compare plans of different sizes. We highlight the cheapest pick for each destination and explain when an unlimited (per-day) plan beats a fixed plan.

We are independent

We are not owned by any eSIM provider. Our rankings are based purely on price-per-GB from the providers' own published prices. We may add affiliate links in future to keep the site free, but that never changes the ranking — the cheapest plan is always shown as the cheapest.

Prices are a dated snapshot

eSIM prices and promotions change constantly. Every price on RoamRates is a clearly-dated June 2026 snapshot for comparison, not a live quote. Always confirm the current price on the provider's own website before buying. See our methodology for exactly how we source and compute the figures.
